For me, those focal points are little more than mental anchors; they give me something tangible to focus on while I’m juggling the physical and emotional toll of a migraine attack. And just as laboring women might find comfort in knowing that their ordeal will eventually come to an end, so too do I take solace in knowing that my migraines will pass – even if it feels like an eternity.
